Challenge
During cold and flu season, consumers are inundated with remedies and brand messaging. Walgreens needed a way to cut through the clutter, remind people of its convenient pharmacy locations, and position itself as the go-to destination for fast, trusted relief.
Solution
In partnership with Pearl Media, we launched the Walgreens “Right Relief. Right Here.” surprise-and-delight stunt. By taking over a popular Chicago street corner, a live Walgreens personality engaged directly with passersby through an on-screen portal, spreading warmth, fun, and helpful directions to the nearest Walgreens pharmacy. To extend the activation, an interactive gesture-based experience ran for several weeks, inviting people to playfully engage with the storefront and the brand.
Impact
The campaign generated over 38,000 interactions with the interactive experience while creating memorable, real-time connections on the street. Walgreens successfully reinforced its role as the neighborhood pharmacy, driving awareness during peak flu season and leaving consumers with a positive, engaging brand impression.

DESIGN & PRODUCTION
Pre-production and rehearsals took place in a nearby location where our crew transformed the empty storefront space to a remote production studio, working closely with talent to refine the delivery and ensure brand authenticity. Our production team managed all technical elements and live direction, creating a seamless flow between the onscreen personality and the street-level engagement. The result was a polished activation that felt both spontaneous and professionally inviting, warm, and true to Walgreens’ voice.
